This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified and those with post-qualification experience to join a growing team handling a varied and engaging caseload of commercial disputes.
You will work closely with experienced litigators on a wide range of commercial dispute matters, gaining exposure to high-quality work while developing your technical and client management skills.
Key responsibilities include:- Assisting with and managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters
- Working on disputes including breach of contract, shareholder/director issues, debt recovery, professional negligence and general business disputes
- Supporting on all stages of litigation, from pre-action through to trial and enforcement
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and legal research
- Attending client meetings, court hearings and mediations where appropriate
- Collaborating with colleagues across the wider firm to deliver effective client outcomes
- Supporting business development activities and maintaining strong client relationships
- NQ + PQE with background from litigation (civil or commercial), housing despair, personal injury, dispute resolution, debt recovery
- Strong academic background and solid technical grounding
- A keen interest in developing a career in commercial disputes
- Confident communicator with good client-facing skills
