Job Description:
A leading commercial law firm in Birmingham is looking to recruit a talented Corporate Solicitor with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience to join its dynamic corporate team. This role offers excellent exposure to a broad range of high-quality transactional work, including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, and corporate governance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on a wide range of corporate transactions including M&A, restructures, share sales and purchases, and shareholder agreements
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and corporate documents
- Supporting senior partners on complex deals and managing your own caseload of mid-sized transactions
- Building and maintaining client relationships with both UK-based and international businesses
- Assisting in business development and contributing to the continued growth of the corporate team
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3+ years PQE
- Strong experience managing or supporting corporate transactions from start to finish
- Commercially astute with excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a collaborative team
