Location: Manchester (3 days in office, 1 remote, 1 in North Manchester office)

Simpson Judge Legal is exclusively supporting a highly regarded boutique legal practice in Manchester with the appointment of a Corporate Solicitor (2+ years\’ PQE) to join their established team. This is a great opportunity for a talented corporate lawyer to build their career in a supportive, commercially focused environment.
About the RoleThis role offers a varied and engaging corporate practice, supporting clients throughout the full business lifecycle. You will be part of a team that regularly advises on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters, working with both SME owners and larger corporates across multiple sectors. The firm delivers practical, commercially grounded advice, and prides itself on developing long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on corporate transactions , including business sales, purchases, and restructurings
Support on M&A work , including due diligence, drafting heads of terms and share purchase agreements
Assist with shareholder agreements , corporate governance and corporate structuring
Draft and negotiate commercial contracts and ancillary documentation
Provide general corporate advisory support for clients, including investment matters and asset transactions
Work collaboratively across practice areas to ensure seamless client service
Candidate Profile
Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years\’ PQE gained within a strong corporate or commercial practice
Experience in corporate transactions , including commercial contracts, M&A support and corporate governance
Excellent drafting and communication skills with strong commercial awareness
Able to manage multiple matters, prioritise effectively, and work independently
A proactive and client-focused attitude, with a willingness to contribute to business development
