A growing and ambitious law firm in Manchester is seeking a capable and commercially-minded Solicitor to join their office-based team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities:- Handle a diverse range of commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, debt recovery, shareholder/director disputes, and professional negligence.
- Draft, review, and advise on a wide array of commercial contracts including supply agreements, service contracts, and terms & conditions.
- Advise businesses on risk management, regulatory compliance, and general commercial matters.
- Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision and contribute to high-value, complex matters.
- Support business development and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate closely with other departments and partners to provide integrated legal solutions.
- A qualified solicitor in England & Wales with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience (more senior candidates welcome).
- Background in litigation (civil or commercial), commercial contracts, corporate law, or a blended commercial practice.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Commercial awareness and a pragmatic, solution-focused approach.
- Confident working independently and managing competing deadlines.
