Position Overview: My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a dynamic team in their Birmingham City Centre office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling contract disputes, shareholder conflicts, and professional negligence claims, alongside wider high value commercial disputes. Key Responsibilities: * Counsel clients on legal strategies, associated risks, and potential outcomes, ensuring effective and transparent communication. * Advocate for clients in court and alternative dispute resolution environments, preparing all necessary case materials to represent their interests. * Draft and assess legal documents such as pleadings, witness statements, expert reports, and settlement agreements, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements. * Perform extensive research on applicable laws and case laws to inform strategy and support sound decision-making. * Cultivate and preserve strong client relationships by providing regular updates and fostering a sense of trust throughout the legal process. * Keep abreast of changes in commercial law to uphold the highest standards in legal practice. * Support the firm’s development by recognising client needs, participating in networking opportunities, and strengthening client connections.
