An established and growing property team is looking to appoint an experienced Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with a strong residential property background and some existing exposure to commercial property transactions .
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential conveyancer who has already gained a foundation in commercial property and is now looking to take the next step, broaden their expertise and develop a more commercially focused career.
You will join a 35-strong property team with dedicated residential conveyancing, commercial property, property investment and specialist leasehold teams. With continued growth expected over the next 6–12 months, there is significant scope to develop your expertise and take on increasingly varied and commercially focused work.
The opportunity
The role offers a varied caseload across three key areas:
- Property investment – acting for property investors and developers nationwide on the acquisition of residential and some commercial property.
- Commercial property – building on your existing experience and developing further expertise across a range of commercial property transactions.
- Residential property – continuing to handle some straightforward residential conveyancing as part of a varied workload.
The property investor element is an important part of the role, so candidates should be comfortable handling property transactions and working with a range of clients.
For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to build on an already strong residential property background while gaining greater exposure to commercial property work , supported by experienced colleagues within a growing and well-established team.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
- A professional qualification as a Solicitor, FILEX or Licensed Conveyancer .
- Strong residential property/conveyancing experience.
- Some existing experience or exposure to commercial property transactions.
- A genuine interest in developing their career further within commercial property.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- The ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise effectively.
- Confidence working independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality work and strong billing performance.
This role would particularly suit a candidate who has developed some commercial property experience alongside a strong residential property practice and is now looking for an opportunity to increase their exposure and build a longer-term career in this area.

Candidates seeking a primarily or fully remote arrangement should have sufficient experience to work autonomously. For fully remote positions, previous experience of working successfully in a fully remote environment is required.

You will be joining a 35-strong property department , structured across four specialist areas:
- Residential Conveyancing
- Commercial Property
- Property Investor Work
- Specialist Leasehold – including lease extensions and lease enfranchisement
