About Our Client:
Join a reputable international law firm with offices across the world, offering a full range of services to a wide range of high-end clients. The firm boasts a number of different Legal 500 departments operating out of their London office, with the Corporate M&A team being one of them.
The Role:
My client is seeking a 5PQE+ Corporate Solicitor with a background working at similar level firms in London. Candidates must have a wealth of experience working on a broad range of corporate matters, including private M&As, PE, and capital markets. The London Corporate Team consists of around 30 Solicitors including 13 Partners, and works on behalf of a range of clients in sectors such as media, tech, resources, healthcare, etc. They also work in collaboration with teams in other offices, working on cross-border matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and leading on a range of M&As, PE backed deals, IPOs, and Shareholder agreements.
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in relation to Corporate matters.
- Drafting and negotiating legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analyse case law to support corporate strategies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely updates and strategic advice.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas and offices to deliver comprehensive legal services.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking and marketing efforts to enhance the firm's profile in the corporate sector.
Qualifications + Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in Corporate law.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to corporate matters.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated client-focused approach with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
