A highly regarded London law firm is looking to strengthen its growing Commercial Property team with the appointment of a Commercial Property Associate at 4+ PQE. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to join a collaborative team advising a sophisticated client base on a broad range of high-value and complex commercial property matters.

The firm has an established reputation for delivering high-quality work and offers an environment where lawyers are given genuine responsibility, direct client exposure and the opportunity to develop their own profile and client relationships.

The Role

You will work closely with Partners and senior lawyers across a varied commercial property caseload, whilst taking responsibility for your own matters with an appropriate level of autonomy. The client base includes high-net-worth individuals, property investors, developers, luxury retail brands and corporate clients, providing excellent exposure to sophisticated and commercially interesting work.

The role will involve:

  • Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Property finance transactions
  • General asset management
  • Providing commercial property support on corporate acquisitions, disposals and restructurings
  • Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support
  • Working closely with Partners and clients on complex and high-value matters
  • Contributing to the continued growth and development of the wider team

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • 4+ years' PQE in Commercial Property
  • Strong experience across acquisitions and disposals, landlord & tenant and property finance
  • Experience gained within a respected City, West End or highly regarded regional law firm
  • The ability to manage a busy caseload independently and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong technical and drafting skills
  • Excellent client management and communication skills
  • Experience acting for HNWIs, investors, developers, retail brands or similar sophisticated clients would be advantageous
  • A commercially minded and proactive approach
  • A collaborative personality and ability to work effectively within a team
  • An interest in business development and developing long-term client relationships
  • A strong work ethic and reliable billing record
