An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised Private Client Paralegal / Trainee Legal Executive to join an established and well-regarded law firm based in Liverpool City Centre. This role would suit a motivated individual with a genuine interest in Private Client work, particularly trusts, probate, wills and estate planning. The successful candidate will join a supportive team environment with strong opportunities for training, development and long-term career progression.
The successful candidate will support solicitors within the Private Client department and assist with a varied caseload of matters including:
- Wills
- Probate
- Trusts
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Estate administration
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of Private Client files
- Conducting legal research and preparing relevant documentation
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries and third parties
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Supporting administrative tasks relating to estate administration
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- Previous experience within a legal environment, ideally within Private Client law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- The ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and case management systems
Desirable Experience:
- Legal qualification or relevant Paralegal training
- Previous exposure to wills, probate, trusts or estate administration matters
