These roles offer exposure to high-quality construction work across a range of sectors and the chance to tailor your next move to your technical interests, experience level and long-term career goals.
Depending on experience and preference, positions may involve:
- Advising on non‑contentious construction matters, including drafting and negotiating building contracts, professional appointments, development agreements and collateral warranties
- Handling contentious construction disputes, including adjudication, arbitration, litigation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution
- Acting for a broad client base such as developers, contractors, consultants, funders and public sector bodies
- Supporting major commercial and infrastructure projects from inception through to completion and beyond
- Managing your own matters (with appropriate support at junior levels) and contributing to team knowledge-sharing and client relationships
- For senior lawyers, potential involvement in supervision, mentoring, business development and strategic practice growth
