Senior Brain Injury Fee Earner (Grade A)

Location: Manchester (Hybrid working available)

Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE) + bonus

A specialist legal practice, nationally recognised for its exclusive focus on traumatic brain injury (TBI) claims, is seeking an experienced Grade A Fee Earner to join its Manchester team. This is a unique opportunity to manage some of the most complex, high-value brain injury cases in the UK within a practice designed for low caseloads, early rehabilitation, and client-first outcomes.

The Role

This is not a traditional personal injury role. Here, you’ll work on a strictly limited number of catastrophic cases (around five at any one time), enabling you to provide clients and families with the highest level of care and attention. The practice operates at the intersection of law and medicine, ensuring early rehabilitation is prioritised and integrated into the legal process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Running a caseload of high-value, catastrophic brain injury claims from start to finish
  • Collaborating with leading medical experts, rehabilitation providers, and therapists
  • Supporting clients and families through complex legal and personal challenges
  • Coordinating early access to rehabilitation, treatment, and funding
  • Acting as a trusted advocate throughout every stage of recovery and litigation

About You

We’re looking for a professional with:

  • Grade A Fee Earner status and 8+ years’ experience in brain injury, serious injury, or clinical negligence litigation
  • A proven record of success in high-value, complex cases
  • Exceptional communication skills and empathy for vulnerable clients and their families
  • The ability to work independently and confidently while contributing to a close-knit, collaborative team
  • A genuine commitment to securing life-changing outcomes through early rehab and tailored support

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Work with the UK’s only legal practice dedicated solely to brain injury cases
  • Benefit from a low-volume caseload model designed for quality over quantity
  • Be part of a team that blends legal expertise with clinical knowledge to achieve the best outcomes
  • Enjoy hybrid/flexible working and a modern Manchester HQ
  • Engage meaningfully with national charities, treatment centres, and rehabilitation specialists
