A leading Legal 500 firm in South Manchester is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to join its specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 12–18 months' experience in a Personal Injury paralegal or legal assistant role who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive environment.
The Role
- Initially, you will be responsible for vetting Multi-Party Injury (MPI) claims, with a particular focus on Military Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (MNIHL) cases.
- You will also set up matters on Proclaim and prepare initial documentation and correspondence.
- As you gain experience, the role will evolve to include assisting with MNIHL and other Personal Injury matters more generally, with the opportunity to progress into direct case handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Vetting and assessing new Multi-Party Injury claims, particularly MNIHL cases.
- Opening files and setting up matters on Proclaim.
- Preparing initial paperwork and client documentation.
- Supporting fee earners with ongoing case progression.
- Assisting with a variety of Personal Injury matters.
- Developing towards managing your own caseload over time.
About You
- Approximately 12–18 months' experience in a Personal Injury paralegal or legal assistant position.
- Experience within claimant PI is preferred.
- Familiarity with Proclaim would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- A proactive attitude and desire to develop a long-term career in Personal Injury litigation.
