The firm has established an impressive presence in the Midlands and is now looking to invest in a senior lawyer who can build, lead and shape a dedicated Property Litigation practice.
Backed by a successful national Real Estate team, a strong cross-office referral network and a collaborative partnership, you'll have the autonomy, infrastructure and investment needed to develop a market-leading practice.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly into the Real Estate leadership team, you will lead the development of the Property Litigation offering across the Midlands.
Working closely with colleagues across Real Estate, Construction, Corporate, Banking, Employment and Commercial teams, you'll have access to high-quality internal referrals while also driving new client relationships and expanding your own network.
The role offers significant scope to recruit and develop a specialist team over time, making this an ideal opportunity for an established Partner looking for greater strategic influence or a Legal Director with a strong business case ready to step into partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Property Litigation practice in Birmingham.
- Develop and implement the strategic direction of the team.
- Build and mentor a high-performing Property Litigation team.
- Manage a varied caseload of complex and high-value commercial property disputes.
- Advise developers, investors, landlords, tenants, corporate occupiers, public sector organisations and institutional clients.
- Drive business development initiatives across the Midlands and nationally.
- Build long-term client relationships and identify new market opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm's national offices.
- Contribute to wider office growth, client strategy and partner leadership initiatives.
- Support the recruitment, development and retention of junior lawyers.
