We are working with a Top 100 UK law firm, ranked top tier in the Legal 500 for Family Law, and renowned for its expertise in private law children and domestic abuse matters. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced Family Solicitor to manage a diverse caseload, provide expert legal advice, and develop their career within a team that values professional growth, collaboration, and a healthy work-life balance.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Managing a caseload of private family law matters, including children and domestic abuse cases, under appropriate supervision.
- Providing clear, sensitive, and practical advice to clients throughout their matters.
- Preparing cases for negotiation, court proceedings, and advocacy where required.
- Collaborating with partners and colleagues to support positive client outcomes and team objectives.
- Ensuring compliance with SRA requirements, proper file management, and the ongoing development of the department.
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (NQ to 5 years' PQE) with a focus on Family Law.
- Experience handling private family law matters, including children and domestic abuse cases.
- Exposure to preparing matters for negotiation, court proceedings, and advocacy.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically.
- Organised and able to manage a caseload while maintaining compliance with SRA rules.
- Collaborative and proactive, with a willingness to learn and contribute to team development.
