Job Title: Conveyancing Legal Secretary
Hours: Part Time
Work Structure: Monday & Tuesday, plus one additional flexible day

An established and well-respected law firm is seeking an experienced Part-Time Legal Secretary to join its busy Conveyancing team based in Sheldon. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a proactive, βcan-doβ attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment and prides themselves on exceptional organisational skills, strong communication, and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing general administrative support, including scanning, filing, audio typing, managing telephone enquiries, and archiving.
- Assisting fee-earners with anti-money laundering checks and file-closing procedures.
- Producing typed correspondence and documents as dictated by fee-earners (strong audio typing skills are essential).
- Preparing, amending, and formatting documents using firm templates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
About You
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Previous experience as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary is essential.
- Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to the needs of the department.
- Positive, professional, and committed to delivering outstanding client service.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient and confident audio typist.
- Candidates must have prior experience working within residential conveyancing.
