We\βre looking for an organised and personable Wills & Probate Paralegal to join a friendly and supportive private client team in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in private client law, working on a wide variety of matters and dealing directly with clients at sensitive times in their lives.
About the Role
- Assisting solicitors and fee earners with a broad range of Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Administration matters
- Drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and associated documentation under supervision
- Preparing estate accounts and dealing with HMRC for inheritance tax returns
- Managing files from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring deadlines are met
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, executors, and other professionals in a compassionate and professional manner
- Conducting legal research and maintaining accurate file records
About You
We\βre looking for someone who is:
- Experienced as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant in a Wills & Probate / Private Client department (or with strong transferable skills from another legal area)
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage a busy caseload under supervision
- Professional, empathetic, and discreet when dealing with sensitive client matters
