An established and ambitious law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its growing Property team. The Role

  • You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, handling a broad range of property matters while contributing to the strategic growth of the department.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Managing re-mortgages, transfers of equity and related property matters
  • Delivering a high standard of client care and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Developing and nurturing referral relationships with introducers and professional contacts
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
  • Assisting with departmental development, process improvement and business growth initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and risk management requirements
  • Contributing to business development and networking activities

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will ideally possess:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive status
  • Ideally 8+ years' post‑qualification experience within residential conveyancing
  • A proven track record of independently managing a full residential conveyancing caseload
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of residential property matters
