The Role
- You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, handling a broad range of property matters while contributing to the strategic growth of the department.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Managing re-mortgages, transfers of equity and related property matters
- Delivering a high standard of client care and maintaining strong client relationships
- Developing and nurturing referral relationships with introducers and professional contacts
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
- Assisting with departmental development, process improvement and business growth initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and risk management requirements
- Contributing to business development and networking activities
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive status
- Ideally 8+ years' post‑qualification experience within residential conveyancing
- A proven track record of independently managing a full residential conveyancing caseload
