I\’m working with a leading Legal 500 commercial law firm based in central Liverpool who are looking to appoint a Real Estate Finance Solicitor to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer with a solid background in real estate finance or secured lending who\’s looking to step into high-quality work in a team with a strong reputation across the region and beyond.
You\’ll be joining a friendly, high-performing team with a good balance of experience and a modern approach to flexible working.
The Role
- You\’ll be acting for a mix of lenders, borrowers, developers, and investors on a wide range of real estate finance transactions, including:
- Acting on behalf of banks, challenger lenders, and private funders on secured lending matters.
- Advising borrowers on acquisition finance, development finance, and refinancing.
- Working closely with colleagues across real estate, corporate, and banking to deliver a seamless service on complex, multi-party transactions.
- Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, legal charges, and dealing with title and due diligence issues.
What They\’re Looking For
- A qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with ideally 2-6 years PQE in real estate finance or general property work with an interest in finance matters.
- Comfortable advising on property elements of secured lending – understanding of facility agreements, debentures, and legal charges is ideal.
- A strong communicator who enjoys working directly with clients and can handle transactions with minimal supervision (depending on level).
- Someone commercially aware and motivated to develop within a growing team.
