Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with a passion for employment law to join our dedicated Employment team for the Leeds office. You will primarily handle a caseload of legal expense insurance (LEI) files and will also assist with a range of non-contentious employment matters. There may be future opportunities to supervise junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on the prospects and strategy of Employment Tribunal claims
- Manage a caseload of Employment Tribunal files from inception to resolution
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements
- Instruct counsel or advocates as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with insurer Service Level Agreements
- Assist with non-contentious employment matters including drafting contracts, handbooks, and providing day-to-day advice to business clients
- Participate in client training sessions and contribute to legal updates
- Use case management systems effectively and ensure timely billing and invoicing
What Weβre Looking For
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx
- Solid experience in employment law, including managing your own caseload
- Excellent communication, drafting, and time management skills
- A client-focused, commercial approach
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive, proactive attitude
Working Hours and Flexibility
