An established and growing law firm is seeking a Legal Cashier to join its finance team based in Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal finance professional with at least 12 months' experience in a legal cashiering or legal accounts role to join a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the firm's financial processes while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

The Role
Working as part of the finance function, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the firm. Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing client and office account transactions
- Managing electronic payments, receipts, and bank transfers
- Performing daily bank reconciliations
- Posting financial transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with completion statements and property-related financial transactions where required
- Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Processing bills and supporting fee earners with financial queries
- Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting
- Investigating and resolving account discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience within a Legal Cashier or Legal Accounts role
- Good understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Experience working with legal accounts systems
