An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Conveyancing Accredited Chartered Legal Executive to join a busy and supportive Commercial & Residential Property team. This role offers the chance to handle a varied caseload of both commercial and residential property matters within a collaborative and dynamic working environment. The successful candidate will work with a broad client base including landlords, tenants, developers and investors, providing expert legal advice across a wide range of property transactions.
The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters
- Handling acquisitions, disposals, leases and landlord & tenant matters
- Advising clients on all aspects of commercial and residential property law
- Drafting and negotiating leases, tenancy agreements and related legal documentation
- Conducting property due diligence and advising on property transactions
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years PQE within Commercial and Residential Property
- Experience handling a varied caseload including:
- Property transactions
- Leases
- Landlord & Tenant matters
- Property disputes
- Strong working knowledge of property law and current market developments
- Experience using Case Management Systems, Laserforms and the Land Registry Portal (essential)
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong negotiation and organisational abilities
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
- Experience managing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within a CQS accredited firm
- Experience using Infotrack
- Exposure to high-value property transactions or complex landlord & tenant matters
- Knowledge of planning, development or property finance matters
