This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal who is interested in developing a career in employment law. Previous employment law experience is desirable, but we are equally keen to hear from commercial paralegals who are looking to retrain and transition into employment work.
You will work closely with fee earners across a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, supporting clients and gaining hands-on experience in a busy and supportive team. Typical responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with employment tribunal matters
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Supporting senior lawyers with advisory work
- Conducting legal research
- Managing files and liaising with clients and tribunals
About You:
- Experience as a paralegal (employment experience desirable but not essential)
- Completed the LPC or SQE, or currently studying the LPC
- Commercially aware with strong organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Keen to develop a long-term career in employment law
