The Role
You will handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including:
- General civil and commercial disputes
- Property litigation and landlord & tenant matters
- Contractual disputes
- Contentious probate (desirable)
- Employment disputes (desirable)
The role will involve managing files from instruction through to resolution, including court proceedings where necessary.
Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of litigation matters independently
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and legal correspondence
- Advising clients on legal strategy and risk
- Representing clients in negotiations and settlement discussions
- Liaising with counsel, experts, and third parties
- Supporting business development and maintaining client relationships

- Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with experience in general litigation
- Confident handling your own caseload
