A well-established and growing law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Litigation Solicitor to join its specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor seeking high-quality work, autonomy over cases and long-term career development within a supportive environment.

The Role

You will manage a caseload of clinical negligence matters, handling files from initial instruction through to resolution, including litigated cases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims
  • Conducting case assessments, investigations and legal research
  • Advising clients on complex and sensitive clinical negligence issues
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and court documentation
  • Managing litigation in line with the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, medical experts and third parties
  • Attending conferences, mediations and court hearings where required
  • Ensuring high standards of client care and file management

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor
  • Experience in clinical negligence litigation (PQE level flexible)
  • Strong understanding of CPR and clinical negligence procedures
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy caseload
  • Compassionate, client-focused approach
  • Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
