We are looking for a proactive, organised, and enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join our client's well-established Employment Law Team in their Redditch office.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide general support to the team, including court bundle preparation, documentation, and dictation.
- Open, maintain, and close client files using ALB case management software.
- Handle billing and client onboarding, including collecting initial details and sending care letters and ID checks.
- Manage client calls and enquiries, including overflow and new leads.
- Track upcoming hearings and maintain enquiry logs.
- Research and coordinate attendance at local networking events.
- Support business development through local market research.
- Handle post and banking duties.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the office's smooth operation.
- Assist with any other duties as required.
- Previous experience as a legal assistant or secretary (preferred).
- Solid understanding of legal office operations.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with case management systems (preferably ALB).
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
