The Role
You’ll take on a key position within the firm’s specialist Financial Mis‑Selling team, handling a diverse caseload of claimant-based financial disputes. This will include matters involving mis‑sold investment products, pensions, and other regulated financial instruments. The role would suit someone with strong technical litigation skills who enjoys managing files from instruction through to resolution, delivering commercial and client‑focused outcomes.
- Managing your own caseload of financial mis‑selling and related claims.
- Advising clients on merits, prospects, and strategy, from pre‑action through to trial or settlement.
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.
- Negotiating settlements and liaising with defendants, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Supervising junior fee earners or paralegals (where applicable).
- Ensuring compliance with all SRA and FCA requirements.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 4+ years’ PQE.
- Background in financial mis‑selling, civil litigation, or professional negligence.
- Strong understanding of financial products, regulatory frameworks, and dispute resolution.
