An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join a busy and supportive legal team. This role offers the chance to handle a varied caseload, advising clients on commercial, contractual, and civil disputes, and representing them in negotiations and proceedings. You will be responsible for managing your own cases, maintaining excellent client relationships, and ensuring that all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on a wide range of civil and commercial disputes.
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court applications.
  • Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court hearings where appropriate.
  • Managing cases from initial instruction through to resolution.
  • Conducting legal research and maintaining accurate case records.
  • Ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth running of the department.

About You

  • Qualified solicitor with relevant dispute resolution experience.
  • Strong understanding of civil and commercial litigation processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
