A highly regarded Legal 500 law firm in Birmingham is seeking to recruit a Childcare Solicitor to join its well-established and specialist family and care team. This opportunity is open to newly qualified solicitors through to those with up to 6 years’ PQE. The team has an excellent reputation for representing local authorities, parents, guardians, and other parties in public law children matters, and is known for its supportive culture, high-quality work, and commitment to social justice.
The Role
- You will manage a varied caseload of public law childcare matters, including:
- Care proceedings
- Supervision and placement orders
- Interim applications
- Advocacy (depending on experience)
