We are seeking a Sheet Metal Technician to join our Engineering Team in Aberdeen. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the position holder will be required to undertake the maintenance, repair and modification of structural components and structures in a Base Maintenance, Line and Workshop environment.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Qualifications: Formal qualification in aviation sheet metal work City and Guilds or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience carrying out sheet metal repairs to rotary or fixed wing aircraft.
  • Skills: Ability to read and understand technical drawings and produce work to the tolerances given.
  • Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Willingness to work rotating shift patterns.
  • Excellent adaptable team worker, with good work and safety ethics.
  • Motivated to provide a high standard of work.
