Our client is a blue chip, global organisation with a commanding position in their field of expertise. We are looking for a QS Lead to drive the commercial performance of their projects and shape the long-term success of the business. You will take ownership of commercial governance, contract management, financial control, and risk mitigation across a portfolio of NEC3/NEC4-driven projects, ensuring profitability, compliance, and sustainable growth. You will manage and develop a Commercial Assistant while shaping commercial strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial and contract management across NEC3/NEC4 projects
  • Produce accurate forecasts, cashflows, cost-to-complete and commercial reporting
  • Manage variations, claims, compensation events and contractual negotiations
  • Monitor financial performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Drive cash collection and ensure strong commercial governance
  • Improve commercial processes and ensure consistent standards
  • Mentor and oversee a Commercial Assistant
  • Support commercial strategy, market analysis, and business development

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong commercial/contract management experience (NEC3/NEC4 essential)
  • Background in construction, infrastructure, utilities, or engineering
