Title: Design Configuration Engineer Reports to: Director of Asset Engineering Full-Time Our client is a forward-thinking organisation in the nuclear and marine engineering sector, working at the cutting edge of clean energy innovation. As a Design Configuration Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing the design configuration of a Floating Nuclear Power Plant. Working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment, you will help ensure that evolving technical requirements are translated into robust, well-managed design packages. Manage all configuration aspects of design packages for the Floating Nuclear Power Plant Maintain design registers including Open Items, Non-Conformances, Interface Sheets, and Design Changes Author Design Review Reports and support Gate Review processes Collaborate with the Principal Marine Engineer and Naval Architect on platform integration Ensure compliance with configuration control procedures and documentation standards Experience in the nuclear and/or marine sectors Experience working in multi-disciplinary design teams and managing technical documentation Comfortable with CAD software (SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD preferred) Strong organisational and project coordination skills Detail-oriented and takes pride in delivering high-quality work
