The Role

As a Marketing Campaign Manager at Simpson Associates, you will play a central role in driving awareness, demand and pipeline growth for our data-led Saa S products and industry-specific solutions.

Working at the intersection of marketing, sales and product, you’ll take ownership of end‑to‑end, digital‑first B2B campaigns that bring our use cases to life for clearly defined audiences.

This is a hands‑on, commercially minded role focused on turning complex data and technology propositions into compelling, outcomes‑led campaigns.

You'll balance creativity with rigour—shaping campaign strategy, overseeing delivery across multiple digital channels, and using performance data and ROI insight to continuously optimise results.

Success in the role means not just delivering campaigns, but demonstrably contributing to lead quality, pipeline and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end planning and delivery of integrated B2B marketing campaigns aligned to business priorities, with a particular focus on data-driven Saa S products and sector-specific solutions (e. g. public sector, education, health, legal).
  • Translate product features and technical capabilities into compelling, use‑case‑led campaign propositions for defined audiences and buyer personas.
  • Develop clear campaign plans covering objectives, target segments, value proposition, messaging, channels, timelines, budgets and success measures.
  • Digital Campaign Delivery
  • Design and lead the execution of digital‑first, multi-channel campaigns, including email, web, paid media, webinars, content programmes and social media, ensuring consistency of message and brand.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, SMEs) and external agencies to produce campaign assets such as landing pages, email journeys, webinars and thought leadership content.
  • Ensure campaigns are correctly configured within marketing automation and CRM platforms to support targeted delivery, lead capture and nurturing.
  • Use-Case & Sector Marketing
  • Create and manage campaigns tailored to specific industries and customer challenges, ensuring messaging is rooted in real‑world outcomes, value and impact rather than generic product promotion.
  • Partner with Sales and Product teams to align campaigns to priority sectors, live opportunities and in‑market products.
  • Performance, Reporting & ROI
  • Define, track and report on campaign performance, including lead volumes, lead quality, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, cost per lead and overall ROI.
  • Produce clear, actionable performance reports and insights for marketing leadership and senior stakeholders.
  • Use data, testing and insight to continuously optimiser channels, messaging, targeting and spend.
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure campaign activity supports sector plans and revenue goals.
  • Ensure timely handover of leads, clarity on campaign intent, and appropriate supporting sales enablement materials.
  • Manage campaign budgets, tracking spend against performance to ensure activity remains cost-effective and delivers value.
  • Brief, manage and collaborate with external suppliers and partners (e. g. digital, creative, paid media agencies) where required.
  • Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure campaigns comply with brand guidelines, data protection requirements and internal governance standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of campaign processes, tools and best practice across the Marketing team.

Skills & Attributes Required

Skills

  • Strong campaign management skills, with the ability to plan, execute and optimise multi-channel digital campaigns end to end.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics, particularly within a B2B context (email, web, paid media, webinars, exhibitions, content).
  • 30Hubspot experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, report on ROI and turn insight into action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex or technical propositions.
  • Attributes
  • Commercially minded, with a clear focus on outcomes, impact and return on investment.
  • Organised and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple campaigns, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Curious and proactive, with a desire to test, learn and continuously improve.
  • Collaborative and confident, comfortable working cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, SMEs and external partners.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑growing, changing environment.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a campaign management or similar B2B marketing role, ideally within technology, Saa S, data or professional services.
  • At least 3-5 years marketing experience, and ideally 1-2 years in a campaign management related role.
  • Experience delivering digital‑first campaigns aligned to lead generation, pipeline or revenue objectives.
  • Experience developing sector- or use‑case‑led messaging rather than purely brand‑led activity.
  • Demonstrable experience of campaign reporting, performance measurement and ROI analysis.
  • Experience working closely with sales teams to align marketing activity to commercial goals.
