The Role
Reporting to the Head of People, with a dotted line to both the Talent & Engagement Lead and the People Coordinator, the role will be varied, predominantly responsible for the day-to-day administration of HR. Working closely with the finance and operations team and all other areas of the business. You will have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing Contracts of employment
- Administration of HR documentation for all employees
- HR documentation compliance and updates, including supporting policy review
- Day-to-day HR administration
- Management of central inboxes
- Setting up and updating employee folders, induction checklists, and new starter setups
- Supporting the administration of recruitment activities, including the arrangement of interviews
- Supporting arrangements relating to engagement activity and events
- Assisting with instructions of New Hires and Leavers
- Benefits enrolment for New Hires and existing employees
- Assisting with the administration of induction and onboarding of new hires
- Supporting broader HR activities
- Processing employee reference checks within People team and Resource Scheduling team
Skills and Attributes Required
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable with working autonomously
- Proficient when using Excel and Word and comfortable learning new systems and technologies
- Excellent communication and good rapport-building skills
- Attention to detail with an excellent ability to multitask
- Has the ability to work to deadlines with a clear & focused approach
- Has the ability to prioritise
- Able to work under pressure
- Ideally CIPD Level 3 qualified
