We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team at Simpro Group. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, building and delivering high-quality features that power the products used by thousands of customers around the world.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, test and maintain features across Simpro Group products, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, offering constructive feedback and helping maintain high standards for performance, security and reliability.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, defects and performance bottlenecks across our platform.
  • Work closely with engineers, product managers and designers in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation and proactively suggest improvements to engineering processes, tools, and technical debt management.
  • Share knowledge with your peers and help mentor junior engineers as they grow within the team.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3 - 5 years of software development experience or a relevant technical qualification (Bootcamp, Degree, etc.).
  • Demonstrable proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Experience working with modern development tools and practice.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working in a Cloud or SaaS environment.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • You’re a proactive team player who listens, shares ideas openly and celebrates team success.
