The Job
This leadership role is a catalyst for transformation, shaping the future of Simpro Group\’s enterprise applications and systems. Partnering with the CIO on strategic vision, the Director will passionately drive operational excellence and continuous innovation. Embracing our Customer Centric and Growth Minded values, this role is critical to Integrate, Innovate, and Accelerate our platforms, creating a robust, scalable, and highly integrated technology landscape that propels organisational growth and efficiency. You will provide strategic direction across all our core business systems, ensuring our technology stack is integrated and optimised to support our long-term business objectives and drive growth.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Vision & Roadmap: Lead the development and execution of the comprehensive enterprise applications strategy and roadmap, aligning core business systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) with overarching company objectives and future growth.
Team Leadership & Development: Inspire, manage, and mentor the internal Systems and Salesforce teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
Operational Excellence & Governance: Oversee all aspects of operational delivery for both strategic projects and business-as-usual (BAU) activities. Establish and monitor robust KPIs and SLOs to ensure process adherence, budget management, and optimal performance across all platforms.
Integration & Automation Leadership: Drive the strategic definition, development, and oversight of the organisation\’s integration and automation landscape, ensuring seamless connectivity, standardisation, scalability, and efficiency across all enterprise systems.
Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and develop strong, collaborative relationships with key business stakeholders across all departments, the CIO, and C-suite/ELT. Ensure enterprise applications truly enable business objectives and foster cross-functional collaboration.
Vendor & Partner Management: Strategically manage relationships with external operational and technology partners, optimising engagement and ensuring effective delivery outcomes aligned with business objectives.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Champion and embed a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the enterprise applications function, constantly seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and future readiness.
Performance Reporting & Platform Health: Provide insightful reporting on the overall performance of the Enterprise Applications function and the health of key platforms, guiding strategic decision-making and ensuring transparency.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a leadership position within enterprise applications, with a strong focus on CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ERP, Marketing Automation, or similar large-scale business systems.
- Proven track record in defining and executing enterprise systems strategies, roadmaps, and transformational initiatives.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing significant budgets, overseeing complex operational delivery, and nurturing strategic vendor/partner relationships.
- Understanding of integration strategies, platforms (iPaaS), and automation technologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence and drive change at all organisational levels.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Salesforce Architect) is highly desirable.
