The Office Manager plays a key role in creating a positive, well-organised and high-performing workplace environment. Acting as the central point for office operations, this role is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, coordinating engaging internal events and maintaining health & safety standards to support both employee experience and business efficiency.
Location: Leeds (LS15), on-site.
Duration: 12-month FTC, starting in June 2025.
What You’ll Do
- Manage building facilities, including liaising with landlord and contractors to schedule required works, managing information displayed on notice boards and managing parking and room booking facilities.
- Ensure all contractors carrying out work on site have been approved through the contractor approval process and up-to-date documentation is maintained.
- Take ownership of the annual health & safety and fire audits, taking regular actions to maintain health & safety standards.
- Manage employees 'Driving for Work' controls including licence and insurance checks and promote awareness of risks and responsibilities.
- Conduct 'Display Screen Risk Assessments' for office and bespoke workstations; support other teams with purchasing specific equipment where required.
- Organise Fire Marshall and First Aid training as required (working in combination with the People / L&D team) and manage the recruitment of Fire Marshalls and First Aiders to ensure sufficient numbers are on site.
- Be a Fire Marshall and First Aider yourself.
- Manage front-of-house activities, welcoming guests and contractors, ensuring awareness of all on-site safety requirements and maintaining accurate record keeping.
- Welcome new starters to the site and ensure they are aware of all facilities.
- Manage catering orders, deliveries and stock levels of required office or event-related stock.
- Take ownership of events management for formal and informal internal events and coordinate charity fundraising efforts on behalf of the company.
- Manage all incoming courier and mail deliveries.

- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent). 5+ years of administrative support is desirable.
