Overview

In this role you will support Denplan member dentists and practice teams to improve retention, drive growth, and deliver outstanding customer outcomes. You will act as a subject matter expert, manage complex queries and escalations, and identify opportunities to expand value from products and services. You’ll coach colleagues, run quality assurance and training, and help create a high-performing team. This position combines account management, customer service, and team support to strengthen relationships and reduce competitor risk, with hybrid work and occasional UK travel.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with dentists and practice teams to support retention and minimise competitor risk
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries delivering professional service to customers
  • Resolve complex queries, complaints and escalations
  • Identify sales and growth opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with Business Development Consultants
  • Champion new systems, tools and self-service solutions with dental practices
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and act as SOP champion
  • Deliver induction training and share best practices across the team
  • Conduct call coaching and quality reviews with constructive feedback
  • Review performance data and support management in identifying improvement opportunities
  • Represent Denplan at events and generate leads through relationship-building activities

Key requirements

  • Significant experience in customer service, account management or client relationships
  • Experience managing complex queries, complaints and escalations
  • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and support retention and growth
  • Experience coaching or mentoring colleagues to improve performance
  • Experience working towards service, retention, quality and growth targets
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to identify process improvements and solve complex problems using sound judgement
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
  • Confidence using data and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement
