This is an entry point role and a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their quality or software testing career who is curious, detail-driven, and excited to learn.
You will work as part of a cross-functional squad alongside experienced Quality Engineers, developers, and product managers. With coaching and mentoring, you will develop your testing skills across both manual and automated testing, gradually taking on more responsibility as your confidence and capability grow.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting testing activities across functional and non-functional areas
- Writing and executing manual test cases with guidance
- Learning and contributing to automated testing (e.g. Playwright) and CI/CD pipelines
- Supporting regression, exploratory, and functional testing
- Logging, triaging, and verifying defects
- Collaborating closely with developers and product managers to understand features and acceptance criteria
- Applying quality and testing fundamentals such as risk-based testing
- Actively learning modern quality practices such as shift-left, TDD, and BDD
About You:
This role is ideal for someone who has some technical proficiency (e.g. exposure to coding, automation tools, or testing methods), but most importantly brings energy, attention to detail, and a strong care for quality. You will be supported with coaching and mentoring, and expected to bring curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to learn.
To be considered you must have:
- A genuine interest in software quality, testing, and technology
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- A growth mindset and eagerness to learn
What’s in it for you:
As well as a competitive salary, our benefits package includes:
- Generous pension with a 6% pension gift from us
- 36 days holiday (with the option to buy and sell a further 5 days)
- Flexible benefits pot (which you can choose to use against some great benefits such as critical illness, private healthcare scheme, shopping vouchers, and more)
- Your own health plan
- Access to a wellbeing hub
- Give as you earn
