Simplyhealth is on a mission to improve access to healthcare for everyone in the UK. As we continue our transformation into a leading health access platform, we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead strategically significant product initiatives within our Healthplan business. This is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role where you’ll own a defined product area end-to-end — from discovery through to delivery and optimisation.

You’ll shape product strategy, define clear roadmaps, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes for both our customers and the business. Reporting to the Head of Product, you’ll operate at the intersection of customer needs, business priorities, and regulatory requirements. You’ll identify and prioritise the most valuable opportunities, balancing short-term delivery with long-term vision, and ensuring your product area contributes meaningfully to Simplyhealth’s broader strategy.

You’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and business stakeholders to drive progress, influence decision-making, and ensure alignment. As a senior leader within the product community, you’ll also coach and support other Product Managers, helping to strengthen product capability across the organisation. Success in this role comes from strong strategic thinking, confident decision-making in complex environments, and the ability to translate insight into tangible outcomes that improve access to healthcare.

About You

This role will suit an experienced and strategically minded Product Manager who thrives in complex, regulated environments and enjoys leading high-impact product initiatives. You’re likely to bring:

  • A strong track record in product management, delivering impactful digital or service-enabled products.
  • Experience owning product strategy, vision, and roadmaps across complex product areas.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through discovery, delivery, and continuous optimisation.
  • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to identify, frame, and prioritise high-value opportunities.
  • A data-informed approach to decision-making, balancing customer insight, commercial value, cost, and risk.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. healthcare or financial services).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to align teams without direct authority.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring others, contributing to the growth of product capability.

You’ll be comfortable navigating ambiguity, making sound decisions with incomplete information, and managing competing priorities with clarity and confidence. Above all, you’ll be outcome-focused, commercially aware, and motivated by building products that genuinely improve people’s access to healthcare.

Your Recruitment Journey

We’re committed to a fair, inclusive and transparent recruitment process. The journey will include:

  • An initial screening call with our Head of People Operations.
  • An interview with the Head of Product to discuss you and the role in more detail.
  • A practical exercise focused on product strategy and decision-making.
  • A final interview with fellow Product Managers.

All offers are subject to standard pre-employment checks. If you’re excited by the opportunity to shape products that make healthcare more accessible and affordable across the UK, we’d love to hear from you!
