We are looking to recruit an Engineer who has experience of:
- Electrical switchgear
- Control and Automation controls
- Testing & commissioning
- 3 phase systems diagnostics and investigation
- Panel wiring
- Fitting and assembly of electrical components & busbar systems
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carry out all testing and inspection of switchgear once on site
- Creating test & final inspection reports for manufactured switchgear
- Managing all external site work and testing. This will include:
- Liaising with customers for site investigations, installations, retrofits, servicing etc
- Creating and supplying RAMS to carry out these work
- Attending site to carry out surveys for any modification work
- Ordering all BO equipment and tools required to carry out sitework
- Working with engineering to design retrofits and panel extension etc
- Arranging labour to carry out the installation, Servicing & Retrofit
- Produce and supply test reports or completion certification
- Support shopfloor manufacturing where required which includes:
- Installation of devices including MCCBs, ACBs, PFC, etc
- Fitting of copper busbar system
- Metering and control wiring
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- At least 3 years experience working on electrical systems
- Electrical Qualifications BTEC/City and Guilds (preferably Level 3)
- Assembly experience (Not essential)
- Experience of working on building sites
- CSCS Card (preferable)
- Full UK Driving Licence
