We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work for a global manufacturing company in St Helens. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be working permanent days - Monday to Friday. Salary is cĀ£45-47,000 per annum plus 25 days' holiday and bank holidays, company bonus, pension, professional development etc.
Duties for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to optimise plant reliability and performance
- Diagnose and resolve faults during both emergency breakdowns and scheduled maintenance
- Contribute to the modification, upgrade, and continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems
- Identify and eliminate potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment
- Apply effective problem-solving techniques to minimise downtime and enhance operational efficiency
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies
Our client is looking for someone with an NVQ Level 2, HNC, HND or similar engineering qualification.
