We're recruiting on behalf of a well established contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality civils, earthworks and groundworks projects across the North West.

You'll take ownership of multiple projects typically ranging from £500,000 to £1 million ensuring they are delivered safely on time and within budget to the highest standards.
The Role
As Contracts Manager you'll oversee several live projects across the North West working closely with clients, Project Managers, the commercial team and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery from start to finish.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing multiple civils and groundworks projects simultaneously.
- Leading and supporting Project Managers and site teams.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely on programme and within budget.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Monitoring project performance, quality and commercial objectives.
- Working closely with the commercial team on variations, costs and final accounts.
- Chairing progress meetings and providing updates to senior management.
- Identifying risks and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality across all sites.
About You
We're looking for someone who has
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the civil engineering and earthworks sector.
- Experience delivering projects valued between £500k and £1m.
- Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, roads, reinforced concrete and external works.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience working alongside Quantity Surveyors.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- SMSTS, CSCS and a full UK Driving Licence.
