We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV 49,400 54,340 per annum, depending on experience plus holidays, pension etc. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am 5:00pm Working alongside a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of HGVs, trailers, vehicles and plant equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities for the HGV Technician * Carry out routine inspections, servicing, maintenance, repairs and MOT preparation on HGVs, trailers, vehicles and plant. * Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment. * Dismantle, repair and replace faulty components and carry out testing to ensure equipment is operating safely. * Carry out maintenance and inspections to the required standards. * Liaise with the workshop team to identify and order required parts. * Complete all relevant maintenance documentation and ensure records are accurate and up to date. * Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. * Work effectively as part of a small team while managing workload and meeting deadlines.
