The predicted salary is between 26500 - 28000 £ per year.

We are looking for a Grinder to work on a permanent basis in the Oldham area. The role is working Monday to Friday from 6am till 2.30pm and 2.30pm till 11pm. Salary is approximately £33,200 - £34,200 per annum plus 25% shift pay, company bonus, 25 days holiday and bank holidays, pension, etc.

Duties for the Grinder:

  • Your new role will involve the operation of manual and CNC grinding machines.
  • Grinding experience would be preferred but full training will be given.

Key Responsibilities for the Grinder role:

  • Able to set and operate grinding machines.
  • Use and understand technical drawings.
  • Able to use measuring equipment to ensure component compliance.
  • Perform basic TPM on all equipment including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Mentor and instruct roll grinding apprentices when required.
  • Committed to continuous improvement and able to suggest improvements regarding methods, processes, and tooling.
