We are looking for a Business Development Manager to work on a permanent basis for a large engineering client in Lancashire. The role will be home based with 1-2 visits per month to our client's site in Lancashire. Our client is looking for someone who is currently working in a Business Development Manager, Client Relationship Manager, Sales Manager role, or similar, who is looking to join a large engineering company where they can grow and develop their career. You will be happy to work from home and travel to our clients' sites nationwide.

Salary/Benefits: Salary is c£40-50,000 per annum plus 25 days' holiday and bank holidays, company car, healthcare, pension etc.

Duties for the Business Development Manager:

  • Play a key role in identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across engineering, commercial, and project teams.
  • Lead efforts to grow our market presence, nurture long-term relationships, and support proposal development and contract negotiations.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to market analysis, customer engagement, and the translation of opportunities into successful project wins.
  • Represent the client in a professional manner, upholding our values of quality, integrity, and innovation.
