Simply Recruitment Limited are currently recruiting for experienced Steel Erectors for a long-term industrial project based in North London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major industrial construction project with long-term work available for suitably qualified and experienced candidates.

Pay Rates (PAYE)
- Basic Hours (40 Hours)
- £23.45 Basic Rate
- £1.50 Productivity Bonus
- £2.37 IBA Allowance
- Total: £27.32 per hour
- Overtime (8 Hours)
- £32.83 Overtime Rate
- £1.50 Productivity Bonus
- £2.37 IBA Allowance
- Total: £36.70 per hour
Additional Benefits
- Digs Allowance: £483.00 per week (£96.60 per day)
- Weekly Gross Earnings: £1,869.40 (48 hours worked + £483 digs allowance)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Erecting and installing structural steelwork in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Positioning, aligning and securing steel components using appropriate lifting equipment and tools.
- Working safely at height and within a heavy industrial environment.
- Assisting with bolting-up, steel alignment and final installation works.
- Working alongside crane operators, lifting teams and site supervision.
- Following lift plans, method statements and site safety procedures.
- Ensuring all works are completed to the required quality and safety standards.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working area at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport.
- NVQ Level 3 in Steel Erecting.
- Previous experience working as a Steel Erector on heavy industrial projects.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of health and safety within industrial environments.
- Experience working at height.
