Simply Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced Freelance Site Manager to support the delivery of a busy programme of highways works across the Liverpool City Region. Working on projects ranging from £40k to £4m, you'll play a key role in ensuring schemes are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Typical works include:

  • Traffic signal installations
  • Ducting and utility works
  • Carriageway resurfacing
  • Footpath reinstatements
  • Highways maintenance and improvement schemes

Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day site activities
  • Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
  • Ensuring Health & Safety compliance at all times
  • Monitoring programme and quality
  • Liaising with clients, engineers and local authority representatives
  • Completing site paperwork, permits and progress reports

Requirements

  • Proven Site Management experience within highways or civil engineering
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
  • Strong knowledge of highways construction and safe systems of work
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams
  • Full UK Driving Licence
