Simply Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading specialist in road and highway maintenance who are looking to appoint an experienced Sub Agent on a permanent basis, based from their office in Chorley.
The Role
As Sub Agent, you will be responsible for leading infrastructure and construction projects from inception through to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across highway and civil engineering schemes. This role would also suit an experienced site engineer that's looking to progress towards project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage infrastructure and highway projects from planning to handover
- Oversee on-site operations and coordinate subcontractors
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations and health & safety standards
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, engineers, and internal teams
- Maintain high-quality delivery across highway, civils, and drainage works
Requirements
