Salary: £44,075 - £49,282 per annum

Contract: Fixed-term contract / secondment opportunity until February 2027

Working Pattern: Fixed-site, Monday to Friday, 7:45am - 3:45pm

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Section Leader - Licensing to lead a specialist licensing team responsible primarily for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing.
Based at a dedicated Taxi Licensing Depot, the successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for the management, operation, financial control, coordination and development of vehicle inspection services.
You will lead a team and ensure consistently high standards of professionalism, regulatory compliance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a licensing team responsible for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and coordination of vehicle inspection services.
- Ensure effective financial control and resource management.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professional conduct
