Senior Environmental Health Officer - Private Sector Housing

Rate: £44 per hour

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
We are looking for four experienced Senior Environmental Health Officers (SEHOs) to join a busy Private Sector Housing team in Wolverhampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Housing EHO with a strong enforcement background who can hit the ground running and manage complex casework with minimal supervision.
The Role
You will support a range of Private Sector Housing enforcement work, including:

Damp and mould investigations, including detailed property inspections and assessments.

Housing Act enforcement, including Improvement Notices, Emergency Remedial Action (ERA) and Emergency Prohibition Orders (EPO).

Serious disrepair investigations and enforcement.

HMO licensing, compliance inspections and proactive investigations.

Civil penalty and prosecution case preparation.

Illegal eviction and landlord harassment investigations.
